French company is looking for an in vivo model of infected skin wounds to evaluate the effectiveness of its innovative and patented new treatment for wounds in mammals

The company is seeking technical cooperation with medical companies or laboratories to test the product under specified conditions on an in vivo model of infected skin wounds, ideally surgical infected wounds.

The company needs a reliable, reproducible model of acute infected wounds (ideally surgical wounds) on which they can test various infections in order to better evaluate the effectiveness of their new product.

A model on any common laboratory animal such as guinea pigs, mice, rats or pigs will work.

As for pathogenic agents, they target the most common bacterial strains present in infected skin wounds, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus. Other common strains are also of interest, in particular: Escherichia coli, Enterobacter sp. and Klebsiella sp.

The company is ready to work with a public or private partner under a technical cooperation agreement that would allow them to test their product in various conditions on animals. Such a partnership is likely to take the form of the provision of services by an interested partner who will be responsible for conducting experiments according to a specific protocol and various specifications developed and provided by the company.
