PURPOSE:
The development is aimed at reducing energy consumption in production and increasing the efficiency of the chemical-thermal treatment of parts made of structural steels.
DESCRIPTION:
The innovative technology for strengthening structural steels using high-density energy is based on the fact that for the first time, preliminary shock-wave loads are used to reduce the energy consumption and increase the productivity of the chemical-thermal treatment process. The research results showed the effectiveness of using the previous shock-wave treatment for the formation of alloy layers of structural steels, which in terms of parameters significantly exceed the alloy layers obtained by traditional strengthening technologies.
TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC EFFECT:

- increase in the productivity of the process of chemical thermal treatment – 2-2.5 times;
- increase in service life by 2-2.5 times;
- reduction of energy consumption by 30-35%;
- increase in the thickness of the alloyed layer by 2-2.5 times;
- reduction of technological processing time – 2-2.5 times.
