PURPOSE:
The Ukrainian University has developed a suspension for vehicles that must be protected from mechanical vibrations from the road surface.
DESCRIPTION:
The car suspension comprises an upper arm, an upper link, an intermediate arm, a body, a lower link, a lower arm, an elastic-damper module. The lower arm is pivotally connected to the body, the lower link and the elastic-damper module. The lower link is pivotally connected to an intermediate arm, which is pivotally connected to the body and the upper link. The upper-link is pivotally connected to the upper arm, which is pivotally connected to the body and the elastic-damper module. A laboratory model of a suspension prototype has been developed, its experimental studies have been carried out.
ADVANTAGES:
Unlike existing car suspensions, the required elastic-damper module of the invention will have half the rigidity and perceive large deformation, which will significantly improve the stability of the car.
TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC EFFECT:
Development does not require significant implementation costs. It allows you to improve the safety performance of vehicles and, as a result, to preserve human health and life.
RECOMMENDED FIELD OF APPLICATION:
The developed suspension can be used on heavy and military road vehicles.
