PURPOSE:
For enterprises producing cylindrical products from fiberglass by the method of oblique longitudinal-transverse winding.
DESCRIPTION:
The most important indicator is the possibility of performing oblique longitudinal-transverse winding in a single-stage continuous method without stopping the rotational movement of the mandrel and the possibility of adjusting the physical and mechanical properties in the longitudinal and transverse (circumferential) directions by changing the transversely isotropic structure according to the anisotropy coefficient in the range from 1 to 3. At the same time an increase in the anisotropy coefficient leads to a redistribution of physical and mechanical indicators with a gradual increase in the circumferential direction, and their decrease in the longitudinal direction. On the contrary, a decrease in the anisotropy coefficient leads to a reverse redistribution of physical and mechanical properties in the longitudinal and circumferential directions.
ADVANTAGES:
The developed method of designing fiberglass products with different transversely isotropic structures allows:
-
- ensure the uniformity and stability of the physical and mechanical properties of products;
- makes it possible to regulate the physical and mechanical properties in the longitudinal and circumferential directions and their ratio;
- reduces the time spent on research when receiving products for various operating conditions;
- makes it possible to control the strength properties during the manufacture of products.
RECOMMENDED FIELD OF APPLICATION:
Enterprises producing pipes for the transportation of cold and hot water, corrosive media and oil products, high-pressure pipelines (up to 10 MPa), water-lifting columns, tanks for storing solid and liquid chemical products, air ducts of ventilation systems, rocket bodies, launch containers in rocket technology.
