HIGH-OCTANE OXYGEN-CONTAINING ADDITIVE TO GASOLINES

PURPOSE:

The use of the proposed high-octane oxygen-containing additives (HPA) to gasolines will expand the temperature range for the use of gasolines with oxygen-containing additives. These additives, together with an increase in the octane number of gasoline, help to reduce the content of hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide in exhaust gases.

DESCRIPTION:

The technical result of the invention is the provision of EVA to gasoline with increased stability against delamination when mixed with gasoline. The technical result is achieved by the fact that the EVA to gasolines containing ethyl alcohol and water, according to the invention, additionally includes alcohols C3-C9, aldehydes C2-C8, esters of lower carboxylic acids C-C5 and alcohols C-C5, as well as cyclohexane. Alcohols C3-C9, aldehydes C2-C8, esters of lower carboxylic acids C-C5 and alcohols C-C5 and cyclohexane increase the stability of a mixture of ethyl alcohol and gasoline against delamination at temperatures below 0 ° C. Insignificant water content – 0.01-0 , 6 vol.% – increases the stabilization efficiency of the above components. EVA for gasoline is prepared by bioconversion of carbon-containing renewable raw materials with subsequent rectification of the resulting substrate.

ADVANTAGES:

The development has technical, technological, economic and environmental advantages that increase the relevance of its application, in particular: the operational properties of vehicles running on mixed gasolines with the addition of EVA, which practically do not deteriorate compared to those that run on commercial gasoline; the octane number of mixed gasolines increases; no negative impact of long-term operation of vehicles on the technical condition and stability of the fuel equipment adjustment was recorded; the concentration of harmful substances in the exhaust gases decreases.

RECOMMENDED FIELD OF APPLICATION:

Fuel and oil enterprises.
