Advantages:

In narrowband mode, the power amplifier can operate at a completely mismatched load. The power amplifier contains an internal bias voltage generator and circuitry to ensure safe operation of the amplifier. The power input of the power amplifier is protected against polarity reversal and can withstand voltage supply up to ± 60 V.
