Soybean variety Aurora belongs to the mid-season group, the duration of the growing season is 111-130 days. Highly productive, the seed yield during the state variety testing in 2018 in Kharkiv ODCESR amounted to 34.7 c/ha, in Chernivtsi ODCESR – 32.6 c/ha, in 2017 in Chernivtsi ODCESR – 29 – ¦24.9 c/ha.
Under field conditions, the Aurora variety is resistant to the main soybean diseases (fusarium, ascochitosis, downy mildew, septoria and bacteriosis).
The variety is high-tech, the height of attachment of the lower beans is 13 – 22 cm, it is resistant to drought, lodging and shedding of seeds. Weight of 1000 seeds – 120 – 150g.
The variety is characterized by a reduced activity of lipoxygenase in seeds (0.75 units/act.), which has a positive effect on the quality of the oil and the duration of its storage. Protein content – 39 – 43% (max – 43.6%, min – 38.9%), oil – 19 – 22% (max – 22.3%, min – 19.2%).
A highly adaptive variety of universal use, recommended for the Forest-Steppe and Polissya, suitable for cultivation both under irrigation and on land.
