Greencubator has updated its Climate Innovation Vouchers grant program. Within its framework, Ukrainian companies can receive 50,000 euros to improve innovations in the field of ecology and their entry into the market. This was reported by representatives of Greencubator. The deadline for applications is May 31, 2022.
How to apply
Greencubator is interested in awarding €50,000 in grants to develop or implement technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase energy efficiency and prevent climate change.
It is reported that the grant support program was created for small and medium-sized businesses. They must be registered by private companies on the territory of Ukraine at least a year before applying for a grant and ready for co-financing in the amount of 25% of the grant amount.
Companies applying will be judged by a professional journal:
- by the level of their innovation;
- realism of the embodiment;
- impact on reducing greenhouse gas emissions;
- the ability to scale and adapt across sectors;
- in terms of market potential.

On the grant program
The Climate Innovation Vouchers project is a component of the EBRD’s Climate Change Technology and Finance Transfer Center (FINTECC) program supported by the EU under the EU4CLIMATE initiative.
Since 2017, more than 30 companies have received Climate Innovation Vouchers worth about 1,240,000 euros. Among them are Delfast, a manufacturer of electric bikes, Go To-U, a platform for managing electric vehicle charging stations, The Good Plastic Company, a manufacturer of recycled plastic dimension panels, and Prengi, a platform for managing property maintenance processes.
