From October 4 to November 8, 2022, the State Scientific Institution “Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information” plans to conduct a free advanced training webinar course on the topic “Transformation of science into business: opportunities for commercialization”.
Participation is free, subject to pre-registration. After listening to at least 7 webinars, all registered participants will receive an electronic certificate. Registration is open until October 3, 2022 (inclusive).
During registration, you can send additional questions that, in your opinion, need to be covered in the webinars, the names of which will be given below, as well as share your own experience or point out difficulties on certain issues within the subject of the presented webinars.

Course objective:
Providing basic theoretical knowledge in the field of innovation and technology transfer. Involvement of more Ukrainian scientists – developers of innovative products and technologies – in the process of commercialization of their scientific products. Acquaintance with the main international scientific competitions of the European Union, grant and scholarship programs. Briefing on the preparation of a project proposal, its presentation to investors and submission to international scientific competitions.
The main objectives of the course:
Getting acquainted:
- with the activities and results of the work of the Technology Transfer Offices;
- with innovative grant programs of the European Union;
- with successful examples of commercialization of projects in the Ukrainian and world markets.
Teach:
- specifics of marketing research and technology audit;
- creation of effective presentation materials for innovative developments;
- features and strategies for preparing project proposals for participation in international competitions, grant and scholarship programs.
The target audience:
The course is intended for technology developers, innovators, authors of scientific projects planning to participate in international competitions, grant and scholarship programs, as well as for representatives of the research sector (ZVO and research institutions) and representatives of innovative businesses interested in implementing joint innovative projects.
The course will be useful for specialists and heads of Technology Transfer Offices and specialists of innovation centers, innovation-oriented companies and enterprises, departments of marketing, patenting, licensing, intellectual property, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science and other ministries, as well as for everyone involved in activities related to the subject of the course.
