The method for determining the volume of accommodation in patients with amblyopia is that the determination of the volume of accommodation is carried out in the study of meridional separable visual acuity in the main meridians of the astigmatic eye, and the volume of accommodation is determined separately in each meridian according to the maximum diopter values. visual acuity, measured separately in each meridian before the installation of optical lenses. The examination is performed after the complete correction of existing ametropia. This method avoids errors associated with visual acuity asymmetries in these meridians.
Implementation requires a personal computer, a set of glasses and a trial frame.
