The European Commission organizes a project proposal writing camp “Horizon Europe” for Ukraine

Ukrainian researchers can join the online Proposal Writing Camps (PWC). The aim of the initiative is to help researchers and innovators from Ukraine prepare solid project ideas related to upcoming Horizon Europe (HEU) competitions. Participants will be trained in writing high-quality competitive proposals, which will facilitate their integration into EU research and innovation networks.

When? July, 3-7, 2023.

The training program will include a review of the key elements of Horizon Europe proposals: excellence, impact, implementation/work plan. Download application.

  • The PWC will be organized within the framework of the European Commission’s Program for the provision of services in support of the Global Approach in Research and Innovation.
  • The PWC for Ukraine will be held online. Maximum number of participants – online work will be limited to four hours per day.
  • The PWC will consist of overview presentations for all 20 participants and group work in two groups (group of up to 10 participants and trainer). The trainers will guide and moderate the work in the groups.
  • The specific topics of the Horizon Europe competitions will be used as an example for writing parts of project proposals.
