On October 24-27, 2023 at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute will host the XII International Festival of Innovative Projects “Sikorsky Challenge 2023”.
The main event of the Festival will be the Competition of Innovative Startup Projects.
The purpose of the Competition is to identify interesting and modern projects in various fields of technology, as well as to provide the authors of the best of them with assistance in commercialization, creating successful start-up companies and bringing innovative products to the national and international markets.
Since this will be the second Festival held during the war, we decided to dedicate it to the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, which will be based on the rapid and effective implementation of innovative technologies and developments in all areas of the country’s security, defense and economy.
The main directions of the Competition:
- Defense and security
- Industrial high-tech and space
- Information technology and cybersecurity
- Civil and military infrastructure
- Transport and logistic
- Energy and environmental security
- Biomedical Engineering and Human Health
- Agricultural Engineering and Food Security
- Blue economy (marine transport, fisheries and aquaculture, coastal and marine tourism)
We invite students, graduate students, teachers and scientists of our university to take part in the Competition and present their project at one of the main annual events in the field of innovation in Ukraine.
The teams that reach the final of the Competition will present their projects to the International Jury and potential investors in a way convenient for them – in the format of “live” performances (presentation or poster presentation) or in a synchronous online format.
The winners are waiting for monetary rewards, negotiations with the subsequent formalization of cooperation with Ukrainian and international customers, business angels, investors and representatives of funds.
