Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation, will partner with the Commonwealth and Development Office of Foreign Affairs (FCDO) to invest up to £10 million in innovative projects of “green” energy. The projects will be aimed at supporting and assisting Ukraine in its recovery and transition to a low-carbon economy.
Financial support for the competition will be provided by the UK’s International Climate Fund (ICF) and the UK’s Ayrton Fund, which allocates up to £1 billion to support clean energy innovation.
The goal of this competition is to accelerate the recovery of Ukraine and the country’s low-carbon, affordable and secure energy supply.
Your innovation should increase resilience to infrastructure attacks in the short term and create access to cleaner energy in the future.
