Ukraine launched the national acceleration program “Vlasne”, aimed at the development of start-ups and small businesses. According to the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhailo Fedorov, the main goal of the accelerator is to help business owners to attract new customers and investors.
What does the acceleration program offer?
The Own program gives participants the opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully develop their own business. Entrepreneurs will be able to receive support from experts, mentors and other program participants, as well as learn from practical modules.
The program covers a variety of topics including product development, fundraising, business model development, marketing strategy, financial planning, and many other aspects of entrepreneurship.
The accelerator is intended both for start-up entrepreneurs who are just trying to open a business and need mentoring, as well as for active entrepreneurs who want to reach new heights in their business or attract financial resources.
Program participants will have the opportunity to participate in training sessions, mentorship and community where they can discuss their ideas and challenges with experts and like-minded people. At the end of the program, support and collaboration opportunities will also be available.
What will participants receive?
At the end of the training, participants will present their own business concepts to mentors, who will determine more than 30 winners. Everyone will receive 100,000 hryvnia, and 10 participants with the highest scores will compete for the main prize – 800,000 hryvnia.
Funds can be used for product development, marketing research, new equipment and other necessary investments to grow the business.
