Purpose. To obtain high-purity iron ore concentrate from poor and problematic ores and nanostructured materials based on iron oxides or sponge iron. Organization of waste-free production.
Specifications. When using special nanoadditives from low-grade ores (30-40% Fe) at a temperature of 600-700 °C, it is possible to obtain a concentrate with a Fe content of up to 65-68%, and under special conditions at temperatures up to 1000-1200 °C – purified sponge iron containing Fe up to 90% while simultaneously reducing recovery time by 10-20 times. Obtaining valuable by-products (phosphates, arsenates, nano-sized iron oxides) when organizing waste-free production. Minimal replacement of the existing technological base.
Application area. Geology. Mining industry.
Advantages. Compared to well-known foreign analogues, the technology is economically more efficient, requires lower temperatures for similar processes, and allows the production of cheaper and higher-quality iron concentrates.
