A.Yu. Krymsky Institute of Oriental Studies of NAS of Ukraine invites you to take part in the International Scientific Conference “XXVI Oriental Studies Readings by A. Krymsky”, which will be held on November 30, 2023.
The work of the sections is planned in the following areas:
- History and culture of states and peoples of the Eurasian steppe;
- History and culture of the countries of the Near and Middle East;
- History and culture of the countries of the Asia-Pacific region;
- History and culture of the countries of South and Southeast Asia;
- The Ancient East;
- Crimea: history, culture, modernity;
- Judaica;
- Religions and philosophical teachings of the East;
- Oriental languages;
- Modern East;
- Minority communities of the East in Ukraine;
- Oriental monuments in Ukraine;
- The legacy of Ukrainian oriental studies, the history of oriental institutions in Ukraine.
Working languages – Ukrainian, English. The duration of the report is 15 minutes.
Readings will be held online.
To participate in the event, you must fill out the registration form before November 20, 2023 (inclusive) and send the abstract of the report to chytkrymskogo@gmail.com.
Abstracts of the report are accepted in electronic form (MS Word format). The number of co-authors is up to two people.
The organizing committee reserves the right to reject abstracts that are not related to the conference, do not meet the specified requirements, or received after November 20, 2023.
The results of the selection will be notified to each correspondent by email no later than November 23, 2022.
Participation in the conference is free.
Based on the results of the readings, all participants will receive a collection of abstracts and a certificate in electronic form.
The collection of conference abstracts will be posted on the open platform of the Ukrainian-Polish publishing house Liha-Pres, which is included in the SENSE rating of book publishers.
