As part of the project “Innovation. Reconstruction. Society” registration for the hackathon “100 ideas for cities” has begun. The goal of the competition is to develop 100 architectural solutions for about 1,400 settlements in Ukraine.
Architectural bureaus of Ukraine and leading Ukrainian and international higher education institutions in the field of urban planning, architecture, construction, and engineering can take part. According to the technical tasks and initial data, participants must develop and present projects for the restoration of specific urban areas, facilities, and infrastructure systems. The winners will be selected after the projects are developed.
The winners will receive:
- Prize fund $15,000
- Mentoring and support
- Possibility of publication
- Participation in exhibitions
- Partnerships with local authorities and enterprises to implement projects.
