Social significance – increasing the efficiency of medical care both in healthcare institutions and at home to prevent diseases, increase the period of remission and reduce relapses of diseases. Economic significance – the use of the created technology in healthcare institutions and at home ensures increased efficiency and reduces the time and costs for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of diseases of the cardiovascular system.
Description. An original method has been developed for constructing and displaying a finger photoplethysmogram on the screen of a smartphone using the built-in webcam of a smartphone, which, unlike the known ones, does not require additional technical means for recording the signal. The method is implemented in a software application for a smartphone, which provides an assessment of the body’s adaptive capabilities and provides an integral characteristic of the properties of blood vessels. Experimental studies conducted on a group of 26 volunteers of different genders aged from 20 to 82 years (more than 500 photoplethysmograms) confirmed the reliability of the proposed algorithmic and software tools.
