Google is launching the second stage of financing a support fund for startups in Ukraine. $10 million will be allocated for grants without raising capital to help Ukrainian startups grow and develop in conditions of full-scale war.
As in the first stage, selected Ukrainian startups will be announced gradually throughout the year and will receive:
- up to $200,000 in equity-free financing;
- Google mentoring support;
- product support;
- $300,000 in Google Cloud credits.
Applications will begin later this year.
Google created a support fund for startups in Ukraine in March 2022, which has already provided 58 grants in the amount of $5 million. Thanks to this support, startups:
- Raised $15.8 million in additional funding.
- Increased income by 100%.
- New jobs were created.
- Received recognition at the global level (for example, Forbes Europe 30 Under 30).
Previously, Google announced the launch of a cybersecurity advanced training program for students, in particular Ukrainian ones, worth $10 million.
