Kyiv Academic University (KAU) continues the tradition of organizing Data Science School in the form of a series of thematic lectures on various areas of machine learning.
Machine learning and artificial intelligence have become key areas of modern research due to their wide application in various fields. Apart from applications in information technology, many application fields such as experimental and theoretical physics, materials science, bioinformatics, climatology and ecology have also seen significant progress due to advanced machine learning techniques.
This year, lecturers will be scientists from the University of Notre Dame (USA), Carnegie Mellon University (USA), Center for Advanced Systems Understanding (Germany), Kyiv Academic University, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and others.
Lectures will allow you to get acquainted with cutting-edge research in the field of machine learning and learn about its non-obvious applications in applied sciences.
At the end of each day of lectures there will be a section of short presentations from students.
