The purpose of the conference is to unite the efforts of scientists and practitioners in solving pressing issues in the development of library and information potential in modern conditions, to highlight the most pressing problems in the library field and determine ways to overcome them, to publish the results of current scientific research, to develop recommendations and proposals for improving the activities of modern libraries.
The organizers invite scientists and specialists from libraries, archives, museums, publishing houses, information departments of institutions and public organizations, representatives of state authorities and local governments, and graduate students to participate in the conference.
There will be nine sections within the conference.
Section 1. Library and information complex: organization and management in the context of modern challenges.
Section 2. Information resources and services of libraries: the potential of international integration.
Section 3. Library and information products and services in the field of political and socio-legal information.
Section 4. Preservation and popularization of the handwritten heritage of Ukraine in the domestic and world space.

Section 5. Ukrainian biography of war times: classical/newest approaches and integration into the international space.
Section 6. Archival scientific heritage of Ukraine: ways of integration into the European intellectual space.
Section 7. Study of musical culture in the present conditions.
Section 8. Press sources of the historical and cultural heritage of Ukraine.
Section 9. Ukrainian book publishing XVI–XIX centuries in the European context: 450 years of the established tradition of “scattering spiritual grains throughout the world”.
The conference program also includes a seminar “Ukrainian Judaica: the history of the preservation and study of library, archival, museum collections and monuments of Ukraine” and three round tables:
“The activities of the institution of presidency in war conditions: challenges and features of communication”;
“Reception of Franz Kafka’s works in library collections (on the 100th anniversary of his death)”;
“Researchers of the Ukrainian Diaspora”.
In addition, presentations and thematic exhibitions will take place.
Working languages: Ukrainian, English, Polish, German.
To be published in the collection of conference materials, manuscripts must be submitted to the scientific secretaries of sections, round tables and seminars by August 4, 2024.
Completion of registration of participants without publication in the collection of conference materials is September 24, 2024.
