The innovative organization EIT Digital, within the framework of the EIT Digital Innovation Program, continues to register participants for the Open Innovation Factory 2024 grant program. The initiative is aimed at mentoring and financial support for startups in the early stages of development in the field of deep tech.
About the program
The proposed technology proposals must comply with five main areas:
- Digital technologies
- Digital industry
- Digital cities
- Digital Wellbeing
- Digital finance
High-tech solutions aligned with the main directions can be based on the implementation of artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, semiconductors, cybersecurity and quantum computing technologies.
The proposed projects will be assessed based on the following indicators:
- Compliance of the proposal with the requirements of the competition, its realism and implementation
- Innovation potential and the ability to achieve planned goals
- Alignment with EIT Digital strategy, financial sustainability and potential social impact
Selected proposals will have the following options:
- financial support of up to 400,000 euros;
- assistance in fundraising;
- mentoring and coaching;
- participation in the EIT Digital Speed Master training;
- access to a pan-European ecosystem of over 350 partners from business and industry, academia, investors and the public sector.
For whom?
Teams that meet the following criteria can take part in the program:
- There are two to four EIT Digital partner participants
- Registered in at least two different European Union Member States or Horizon Europe countries (including Ukraine)
- One of the team members must be an early-stage entrepreneur with an innovative high-tech product that is already in demand
- All participants must be willing to collaborate intensively for 6 months on a common plan to promote the innovative product and gain recognition in the market.
How to participate?
To participate in the program, EIT Digital partner participants must register on the platform and then fill out an application. The deadline for submission is October 21, 2024.

Startups that are not part of the team can also participate in the program. To do this, you need to fill out a partner search form, which will be open in September 2024.
