Nanophotonics magazine, in collaboration with the Optica Foundation, announces a grant program to support Ukrainian researchers and educators

The goal of the program is to support researchers and educators in the field of optics and photonics in Ukraine whose lives have been significantly impacted by the war. The goal of the program is to support about 100 researchers and teachers, regardless of age and gender.

Individual grants range from $500 to $2,000.

Applications are accepted until November 30, 2023.

Main criteria for participation:

– be a citizen of Ukraine, permanently reside in Ukraine and have an affiliation with a Ukrainian institution;

– actively work in research or educational fields in the field of optics, photonics or related industries;

– the candidate’s professional activity was threatened as a result of the war.
