Zhytomyr Polytechnic University hosts an exhibition of high technology, robotics, mechatronics and startups

Within the framework of the Second Forum of the Regions of Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus, an exhibition of high technologies, robotics, mechatronics and start-ups was held on the basis of Zhytomyr Polytechnic. There, scientists, inventors and students have shown more than 150 startups and developments, especially in universities. First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Yuriy Polyukhovich took part in the event.

The exhibition was attended by almost 4 thousand guests – schoolchildren, students from other universities, inventors and all who are interested in modern developments. For them, more than 150 locations were equipped, representing 70 invited participants and Zhytomyr Polytechnic.

For example, there was a student startup of Zhytomyr Polytechnic called MechLab. It is a one-stop shop that allows you to create and implement cutting-edge technology, such as 3D printers, drone systems, or robotics. In addition, the MechLab team also recently developed a unique drone-powered car.

Among other developments you could see:

  • diagnostic equipment for service stations and power tools;
  • traffic monitoring and analysis systems;
  • airplane and trolleybus simulators;
  • drones;
  • field communication networks;
  • smart home video surveillance system;
  • biomedical equipment, etc.

In addition to Zhytomyr Polytechnic, the exhibition was organized by local innovative companies, Ukrainian and Belarusian scientists, authors and startup teams. As a result of the forum, 11 international agreements, memorandums and protocols of intent were signed by the university.
