TEPLOVISION OBSERVATION SYSTEM OF UNMANNED AIRCRAFT AND SPACE VEHICLES

PURPOSE:

For the manufacture of optoelectronic infrared observation systems.

DESCRIPTION:

A new model of information transformations was developed during remote observations from an aircraft or spacecraft using a thermal imaging optoelectronic observation system. This model takes into account the characteristics of backgrounds, targets, the optical system and the matrix radiation detector, and allows exploring ways to improve the technical characteristics of the main blocks of the system. The calculation algorithms are based on spatial-frequency filtering in the signal paths and allow you to perform the tasks of analysis and synthesis of systems with or without visual perception. The model is compatible with current NATO standards. New methods have been created for calculating the spatial and energy separation of modern and promising thermal imaging optoelectronic observation systems. Methods have been developed to increase the spatial separation of onboard thermal imagers by recording Subpixel-shifted images. The resolution for typical objects of observation can be improved by 20-30%. Sound engineering solutions to increase the energy sensitivity of space and aviation thermal imaging surveillance systems.

ADVANTAGES:

Mathematical models for calculating spatial separation at arbitrary viewing angles and the rotation of a moving matrix radiation detector exceed the level of world analogues. The proposed solutions will enhance the competitiveness of domestic optoelectronic equipment.

TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC EFFECT:

The introduction of the proposed methods in the development of aerospace equipment will increase the efficiency of its operation, namely, up to 20% increase the spatial resolution of thermal imaging systems. The economic effect cannot be determined only in combination with other components of the process of creating remote monitoring equipment.
