TECHNOLOGY OF CLEANING OUT LINE OF WELLS USING A VISCOELASTIC PISTON

PURPOSE:

To improve the hydraulic efficiency of wells.

DESCRIPTION:

To combat water plugs in the well trains, a gel-like viscoelastic piston with an adjustable period of its dissolution in water and in water with condensate has been proposed. According to the results of laboratory studies, it has been shown that with different recipes for the manufacture of a viscoelastic cleaning piston, it is possible to adjust the duration of its existence from about 40 minutes. up to more than one hour in water and from more than two hours to almost three hours in a mixture of water and condensation. A viscoelastic piston is prepared directly in the field by mixing water until a homogeneous mass is formed. Thereafter, the mixture is treated with methanol to reduce the adhesion of the gel to the metal. The piston is launched into the well loop, moreover, the composition of individual components in the piston is selected in such a way that during the period from launching into the exhaust line to entering the gas treatment unit, the piston completely collapses (dissolves in water).

ADVANTAGES:

Use of inexpensive and domestic chemical reagents. The possibility of introducing the piston into the gas pipeline, both through special launch chambers and without them, as well as the absence of the need to catch the piston at the end of the gas pipeline.

RECOMMENDED FIELD OF APPLICATION:

Loops of gas and gas condensate wells with water in their production.
