MODERN TECHNOLOGIES OF INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT OF COAL DEPOSITS OF UKRAINE

PURPOSE:

Modern integrated technology based on innovative solutions, which is aimed at a radical increase in the efficiency of coal mining from thin and ultra-thin seams.

DESCRIPTION:

The solution to one of the main scientific and technical problems of energy security of Ukraine through the creation and implementation of modern integrated technology-based on socially-oriented innovations for a radical increase in the efficiency of coal mining from thin and ultrathin seams, occurring in difficult world conditions in Western and Central Donbas, is more than 80% of the geological reserves of Ukraine and do not have an acceptable alternative to extraction by other methods. The extrema of the parameters of technological schemes for the development of thin and ultrathin seams along the length of rows and extraction pillars, twice as many domestic and equivalent to the world ones for the average thickness of the seams, as well as based on the safety of personnel, the use of high-resource equipment and reliable fasteners, are revealed. On this basis, a vertically-integrated production company was created with 11 mines developing thin and ultra-thin coal seams of thermal coal for the introduced new technology, and its production accounts for 40% of the national volume of this type of coal. The results obtained have become the basis for an integrated innovative model that allows predicting the stages of intensive and evolutionary changes in coal mining with a corresponding reproduction of complex phases of rock pressure and development of mining operations.

ADVANTAGES:

Innovative processes in the implementation of modern integrated technology for the development of thin and ultrathin seams with radical increases in the load on longwalls develop in stages of intensive and evolutionary changes with periods of 3-5 years and require the combination of programs for scientific and technical support for the adaptation of new technology in transient geomechanical processes, the use of systems operational improvement and adjustment of the social vector at enterprises.

TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC EFFECT:

The indicators of production efficiency and wage growth from the introduction of integrated technology for the development of coal deposits exceed domestic ones by up to 5 times with a decrease in the volume of mine workings by 2.7 times, which corresponds to the world level for medium-sized seams and allows us to define the created infrastructure as the main one in guaranteeing energy security and one that unites the interests of the state, society and business. The total economic effect from the use of these developments by the authors exceeds UAH 3 billion.
