PURPOSE:
The developed materials are used for laying pipes with a factory insulating coating for oil and gas pipelines; for transportation of aircraft fuselages; in the coal and sugar industries as filters; for the manufacture of body armor both directly (light series), and with ceramic and titanium armor plates; in the manufacture of protective elements (sole, sidewall reinforcement), military footwear (ankle boots) for protection against anti-personnel mines; in the manufacture of parachute lines for the landing of military equipment.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

- multilayer fabric model: STSZ – 5M, STSZ – 10M, STSZ – 15MOD, STSZ – 18BZ, STSZ – 25TS;
- weave characteristic: 5-, 7-, 8-layer binding;
- sample width 80 ± 1 mm;
- sample thickness: 5.2-9.2 ± 0.5 mm;
- surface filling: 70-96 ± 2%;
- breaking load of the sample: 80,000-140000 ± 50 N;
- breaking elongation: 22-64 ± 3%.
ADVANTAGES:
The developed structures of multilayer fabrics have alternating breaking loads by 4% and breaking elongation by 97% more than a steel sheet (steel 3) of the same cross-section. At the same time, the productivity of technological equipment is 2.5 times higher with material savings of 12-18%.
