PURPOSE:
For the generation of electric and thermal energy and organic fertilizers from agricultural waste.
DESCRIPTION:
Large bioenergy centers, based on the technology of anaerobic (methane) digestion of manure from agricultural enterprises, as a result of processing, obtain biogas, which can be used as a gaseous fuel or to generate heat and electricity, and fermented mass, which is a high-quality organic fertilizer. In addition, the processing of manure waste prevents the pollution of groundwater, water bodies and contamination of the soil by helminths and pathogenic bacteria, that is, bioenergy centers solve both energy and environmental problems.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
A bioenergy center can be 80% equipped with domestic equipment, such as a cogeneration station based on a 11GD100M motor engine (State Enterprise “V. A. Malyshev Plant”) with the following characteristics: electric power – 1000 kW, thermal power – 1100 kW, biogas consumption – 420 Nm3 / kWh. Motor-electric units can be used as the main or backup source of electricity (three-phase alternating current with voltage 6300 V, current frequency – 50 Hz).
ADVANTAGES:
Design indicators of an autonomous bioenergy center for a pig farm with livestock of 30,000 animals using biogas as a motor fuel in a modular cogeneration station: 87% of the heat produced is consumed for the complex’s own needs; the rest – 13% – can be used as a commercial product. To ensure operation, the bioenergy center needs about 200 kWh / year of electricity (20% of the produced amount) 800 kW / year can be sold as a commodity.
TECHNICAL AND ECONOMIC EFFECT:
A preliminary investment assessment of the project has been carried out. To accurately calculate the technical and economic indicators of development, you need to be linked to a specific design object. When selling commercial products, the payback period for capital costs will be 2.0 – 2.5 years.
