SMART QUADCOPTER: HYBRID QUADCOPTER

PURPOSE:

The quadcopter is designed for automatic monitoring and scanning of technical objects, including power lines, oil and gas pipelines and storage facilities; delivery to a hard-to-reach point of small-sized cargo; observation of protected objects; chemical and biological treatment of agricultural land.

DESCRIPTION:

The quadcopter navigation system is a small-sized autonomous electronic information system, which in real-time at a high frequency produces the value of the angular velocity and acceleration, orientation angles, linear velocity and geographic coordinates required for automatic control of the movement. The device performs the function of combining inertial and satellite information and reproduces data with better characteristics than separate inertial and satellite information. Smart Quadcopter is a hybrid type aircraft that combines a range of electric motors, an internal combustion engine and a generator to recharge batteries.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Navigation system: size <10 cm; 3 gyroscopes (IMU STMicroelectronics LSM9DS1TR); 3 accelerometers; 1 receiver (GPS receiver ЕВ-800А) autonomous mode accuracy: with satellite signal – distance error <5 m, without satellite signal – flight duration less than 20 minutes, distance error – 150 m; when the satellite signals are restored, the full functionality of the navigation system is restored within 3 minutes; mathematical model – know-how. Hybrid UAV: ​​weight -14 kg (including internal combustion engine with fuel reserve) flight duration => 1.5 h; payload – 5-6 kg.

ADVANTAGES:

Its technical characteristics significantly exceed those in unmanned aerial vehicles of low prices, which in most cases cannot: work in the air for more than 20-30 minutes. and offline, send a cargo weighing more than 0.2 kg. For the developed UAV, an onboard navigation system and control and measuring equipment were created.
