FLEXIBLE PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERTERS OF SOLAR ENERGY BASED ON THE CDS / CDTE HETEROSYSTEM

PURPOSE:

For generating electrical energy by solar radiation. Standalone flexible and ultra-light power supplies of low and medium power.

DESCRIPTION:

The most important indicator is the reduced power, which for individual solar cells is 2.5 kW / kg with an efficiency of 11.4%, and for a minimum module – 1.9 kW / kg with an efficiency of 4.6%.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

The minimum module consists of 20 photoelectric converters and generates current and voltage at the maximum power point Jm = 2.1 mA / cm2, Um = 2.2 V, respectively.

ADVANTAGES:

The best industrial analogue in the world, solar cells with tri-cascade photovoltaic converters InGap / GaAs / Ge, operating on concentrated solar radiation, has a reduced power of 0.18 kW / kg (the reduced design is 1.9 kW / kg).

RECOMMENDED FIELD OF APPLICATION:

In mobile electronic devices including military applications, unmanned aerial vehicles, automotive refrigeration units.
