PLANT FOR RECYCLING POLYAROMATIC HYDROCARBONS

PURPOSE:

The unit allows the utilization of a wide range of organic waste, incl. Surfactants, which are characterized by increased carcinogenicity, with the subsequent production of energy carriers.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

The main characteristics of the electric convector: productivity for generator gas – 0.1 m3 / h, power consumption – 2 kW / h, furnace type – tubular, overall size (L × H) – 340 × 480 mm, conversion chamber volume – 2 dm3.

RECOMMENDED FIELD OF APPLICATION:

By-product coke industry.

ADVANTAGES:

The advantage of the development in comparison with the known methods of utilization of viscous organic waste (gasification, the use of plasma, etc.) is the ease of installation, reliability and convenience during its operation.

DESCRIPTION:

The active component of the installation is an electric convector (800-1300 C), where the surfactant is destroyed with the formation of combustible gaseous components (mainly CO and H2). The surfactant schedule is carried out using a carbon filler that has a catalytic effect. Micro-arc discharges are formed in the places of filling the filler, the temperature of which can reach 2500 С.
