The invention relates to antenna technology. It can be used to improve the broadband properties of antennas intended for use in radio equipment for various purposes in the centimeter wavelength range, including as part of a more complex antenna system. The antenna, which is claimed, has broadband both in directivity properties and in SWR at its input. The presence of design changes has led to the fact that it is not necessary to use a special element for balancing to power its asymmetrical line. An important design feature of the antenna of the claimed is the fact that the antenna itself and its supply line can be in the same plane – this contributes to its use as an element of planar antenna arrays. The broadband antenna of the claimed antenna is due to the combination in its design of a planar ring with variable width and a single-branch spiral with a small number of turns. Provided a sufficiently wide bandwidth of operating frequencies both in directional properties and in input impedance.
