Brief characteristics, advantages, further application perspective.

Valuable information was obtained on the composition and biotechnological potential of microorganisms in the Black Sea region of the World Ocean. For the first time, the assessment of the state of the prokaryotic microbiota of the Black Sea waters and the microbiota associated with aquatic organisms was carried out, and it was confirmed that the evolution of the microbiota proceeds directly and in close connection with the evolution of the environment. The working hypothesis that the Black Sea is the only known source of isolation of Lactobacillus from sponges was confirmed, and the obtained isolates demonstrated a rather powerful antimicrobial and biotechnological potential. Lactobacillus strains were resistant to antibiotics and could be used as a base to form a bacterial consortium with powerful antibacterial and probiotic properties.

A new consortium of microorganisms has been obtained for its use as a food additive for mariculture objects grown in closed conditions. The technological regulations for the fermentation of algae of the genus Ulva using lactic acid cocci Pediococcus pentosaceus have been developed.

The studies carried out to make it possible to determine the components and sensitivity of the microbial community to anthropogenic load, to study the distribution and change in the quantitative content of various sections of the Bacteria domain depending on anthropogenic load, and serve as the basis for developing practical recommendations for organizing mussel and oyster farms in the Ukrainian part of the Black Sea. Recommendations and suggestions for choosing a location for a marine farm and water quality have been developed.
