The Ministry of Education and Science announces a competition for the annual Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the development and implementation of innovative technologies

From June 1, 2021, a competition is announced for the annual Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the development and implementation of innovative technologies in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated August 1, 2012 No. 701.

The Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for the development and implementation of innovative technologies (hereinafter referred to as the Prize) is awarded annually for special achievements in the development and implementation of innovative technologies in production and the launch of domestic innovative products on the market.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine annually awards up to 5 prizes and determines its size.

During the awarding of the Prize, the following are taken into account:

  • the practical value and prospects of the results of the work-related economic activity of the applicant of the enterprise, individual industries and / or the national economy as a whole;
  • the number of jobs created for the introduction of innovative technology, including new jobs in high-tech industries;
  • availability of modern high-tech scientific equipment and the effectiveness of its use in the process of introducing innovative technology;
  • compliance of work with priority areas of development of science and technology and innovation;
  • the number of titles of protection for intellectual property objects obtained in Ukraine and abroad and used in the work;
  • the number of licensing agreements concluded in the course of work execution for the use of objects of intellectual property rights and know-how.

The work on the development and implementation of innovative technologies, the result of which is the implemented innovative projects, can be nominated for the Prize.

Works nominated for the Prize are accepted for consideration provided that their results are applied in practice at least one year before the date of their nomination for the Prize.

The team of authors of the work should consist of no more than ten people and include direct performers of the work, whose creative contribution is significant.

Enterprises, institutions and organizations submit annually before August 1 of the year in which the competition was announced, to ministries, other central executive bodies, the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Medical Sciences, the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, applications for the award of the Prize, for their part, must select up to 5 works and submit them by October 1 to the Ministry of Education and Science.
