Both individual candidates and ready-made start-up teams are invited to participate in the competition. Winners will participate in a 6-month incubation program that will take place online and offline.
Competition details
AllStartup Weekend is held in the format of a hackathon – an event during which specialists from different industries unite in teams and solve certain problems within a limited time. Participation in the competition will allow individual entrepreneurs and technical professionals to become co-founders of a startup in which they can realize their potential.
The most talented participants will be able to complete a 6-month program, where mentors will help develop a business model and prepare for investments at an early stage. Based on the selection results, startups will receive from 100 thousand euros.
We add that the Ukrainians who have completed the program have already created more than 40 startups. 6 of them attracted investments totaling about one million euros.
What is known about the organizer
Demium – Spanish incubator founded in 2013 in Valencia. Cooperates with an investor company and invests in talent. It is one of the most active venture capital funds in Europe, already invested in such Ukrainian startups as Recoshelf, DrugCard, Clean Drops, etc. The company is represented in five countries: Spain, Portugal, Greece, Poland and Ukraine.
How to participate
The selection process will consist of a series of online and offline interviews with the Demium team. Individual candidates wishing to create a new project or join an existing team will discuss their background, previous experience and willingness to start their own company.
Each team will be judged according to these criteria.:
- line-up;
- ideas;
- level of progress;
- the ability to create a product that meets market demand.
The best will take part in the three-day AllStartup Weekend, where they will acquire new skills during the workshops. With the support of mentors, each team will present their project to Demium representatives, and the best of the best will take part in the 6-month program.
