The Projector Institute is creating the Projector Creative & Tech Foundation to educate 5,000 Ukrainian women who were forced to move abroad or within Ukraine due to the war. The program is supported by the Ministry of Digital Information of Ukraine and the national project for the development of entrepreneurship and Diya.Business.
Why is it important?
russia’s attack on Ukraine on February 24 forced more than 3 million Ukrainians to leave the country, and 6.5 million to move to the western and central regions. The vast majority of migrants are women who save their children. For their safety, the women settle for a life away from their homes, their husbands and families, with illusory and incomprehensible plans for the future.
These women hold the maternal front of our country, protect its little citizens. And now, more than ever, they are vulnerable and are trying to arrange life in new conditions. They are forced to independently look for answers to the questions “What the next?”, “Where to work?”, “What are the prospects?”, “How to make money?”.
Projector Institute has been creating training programs in the creative and technical sector for more than 7 years, during which time it has studied more than 12 thousand graduates and gave them an impetus to build a new career. In the tough new environment, Projector wants to help those who need hope now more than ever.
