The development relates to water management and can be used on irrigation and waste canals in the south of Ukraine.
Development for measuring the flow of channels from the berm involves the following method. The hydrometric turntable is mounted on two rigid rods to a float located on the surface of the water stream. To fix the float in a horizontal stationary state on the surface of the water flow, it is fixed by tension to two vertically located pipes, which are rigidly restrained in the channel bed. Information about the flow rate of the channels is transmitted using an automated control system located in the float.
The use of scientific and technical development will increase the efficiency and sufficient remoteness in obtaining the results of channel consumption during their operation.
