The direction of this topic requires further funding, taking into account the need to study the state of the main hydrobiological components during the transformation of river flow and in order to develop a methodology for determining the quality of transit waters in the coastal zone of the Azov-Black Sea region of Ukraine to improve environmental monitoring.
Brief description, advantages, further prospects for application.
The accumulation of long-term data will make it possible to assess the role of the transformation of sea waters in the northwestern part of the Black Sea with changes in salinity. These results can serve as a basis for developing a strategy for managing the coastal zones of the Black Sea coast. The study of the state of the biological resources of the Sea of Azov and the elucidation of the patterns of their transformation under conditions of changes in river runoff and salinity can become the basis for developing a program for restoring the state of the aquatic biological resources of the Sea of Azov.
