On June 1, 2022, the official opening of the annual competition “Young Scientist of the Year”, organized by the Council of Young Scientists under the MES, took place.
The main goal of the competition is to popularize science, as well as to recognize innovative and productive scientists, engineers, researchers who have made a significant contribution to the scientific research of Ukraine and the world.
Acting took part in the event. director of the Representative Office of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kyiv, Mateusz Bialash. During the opening, the laureates of the Young Scientist of the Year 2021 contest addressed the participants. In particular, the winner of the nomination “Inventor of the Year in the field of social and humanitarian sciences” Inna Goncharuk, the winner of the nomination “Earth Sciences” Ekaterina Sai, the winner of the nomination “Metallurgy” Yuri Belokon, the winner of the nomination “Psychology” Alisar Alisar. At the end of the event, the winners of last year’s competition shared their achievements in their professional activities.
