The most significant scientific results of the study are: development of practical recommendations for the formation of the institutional basis for the investment and innovation policy of rational environmental management of the national economy; formation of adaptive mechanisms for stimulating and providing environmental innovations; development of methodological support for a comprehensive assessment of the investment and innovation policy of nature management at the macro- and meso-levels; in the sectoral dimension; taking into account the “smart” specialization of the regions, taking into account the key dominants of the investment and innovation policy of nature management and the principles of introducing an innovative “quad-spiral” in the field of nature management. Based on the results of the developed methodological support, a comprehensive assessment of the relationship and mutual influence of the investment-innovative and natural-resource potentials of the national and regional economies was carried out, the dominants and strategic priorities of the state and regional policy were determined.
