Biogas reforming catalysts

Purpose. For the processing of natural and biogas into synthesis gas in order to obtain ammonia, methanol, diethyl ether, Fischer-Tropsch syntheses and high-temperature solid oxide fuel cells.

Specifications. Heat-resistant ceramic matrices of a honeycomb structure with a low content of active components and low gas-dynamic resistance; the process of combined reforming of C1-C4-alkanes with the participation of O2, H2O, CO2 is realized at 500-800 °C; the content of the active component Ni – 4-5% of the mass. and modifying additives 1 wt.%; stable operation in autothermal mode with high energy efficiency; synthesis gas is produced with a controlled H2/CO ratio from 1 to 3 to produce a wide range of industrially important substances.

Application area. Use in the chemical, bio-, petrochemical and processing industries, the agricultural sector

Advantages. Compared to analogues, catalysts have a significantly lower content of active components at high performance, are resistant to catalytic poisons (sulfur) and high temperatures, do not contain precious metals, and have low gas-dynamic resistance, which reduces operating costs. The components that make up the preparations are used in medicine and the pharmacological industry.
