Competition for the 2023 UNESCO-Kulling Prize for the Popularization of Science launched

The award is jointly funded by the Kalinga Foundation and the Government of India to recognize the significant contribution of an individual, institution, non-governmental organization or other organization that has made a significant contribution to the development of the field of science or technology, which has contributed to the promotion of the role of science, technology and general research in improving public welfare and decision current global troubles.

The laureate of the award will receive a cash reward of 40,000 US dollars, a certificate, the UNESCO Albert Einstein Medal, as well as a reward from the Government of India, which is 5,000 US dollars and the opportunity to travel to India to meet with scientists for funding from the Indian side. Candidates for the nomination must be selected in agreement with the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO and, after agreement, must submit an application online by July 30, 2023 by sending a request to access the online application platform.
