Intelligent object recognition system for unmanned aerial vehicles

Purpose. The use of the developed information-cost technology makes it possible to increase the accuracy of identifying objects of interest and reduce the energy costs of on-board systems during flight, which increases the autonomy of the UAV.

Application area. Aerial reconnaissance and patrolling of a specific area of terrain or border, recognition, identification and determination of coordinates of objects of interest.

Advantages.

  • lack of analogues in Ukraine;
  • the ability to identify objects automatically;
  • a wide range of applications (military reconnaissance, search and rescue operations, security of objects, aerial photography);
  • relatively low cost.

Description. The essence of the development is to create an intelligent recognition system for a multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which is designed to perform autonomous aerial reconnaissance and patrol a certain area of the terrain or border, recognize, identify and determine the coordinates of objects of interest.
