Technology for the full extraction of coal reserves with the accumulation of waste rocks in underground space

Purpose. To develop a new progressive technology for the full extraction of coal reserves with high energy potential through the complete accumulation of mine waste rocks in underground space based on the creation of fundamentally new elements of mechanization of technological processes, improvement of spatial planning solutions for the development of mining operations and research of physical and mechanical authorities. .

Specifications. It has been established that when using a new progressive selective mining technology with full backfilling of mine rocks, the total operational ash content of coal produced from the production and tunneling faces averages 15.2% (with an average parent ash content of Apld = 8.1%). Comparing these indicators with those obtained using traditional mining technology, it can be argued that the transition to waste-free technology for these conditions ensures a reduction in operational ash content by 31.5% or 3 times. Using the example of mining-geological and mining-technical conditions of the mines of Western Donbass, it was established that when production is transferred to progressive selective technology, the total annual thermal energy potential that can be obtained from extracted fossil fuels increases by 1.8 times and reaches 8.97 Tcal per year. . A comparison of the obtained indicators indicates that at enterprises in Western Donbass it is possible to increase the energy potential of extracted fuel by 4.15 Tcal.

Application area. Coal mining enterprises.

Advantages. The proposed technology, unlike its analogues, is distinguished by the combination in space and time of cleaning and preparatory technological processes, planning of mining operations on existing horizons with the placement of rocks in underground space to create favorable conditions for the full development of thin and ultra-thin coal seams, and new elements of mechanization. attraction of high-performance and highly reliable technological lines for the operation of a complex of cleaning and tunneling equipment. The technical and economic indicators of the technologies developed in the project are justified taking into account the additional profit of the enterprise obtained by increasing the energy value of mined coal, reducing the volume of storage and transportation of waste rock to dumps, reducing harmful emissions and the impact on the environment.

Technical and economic effect. It has been determined that the annual total expected environmental and economic effect per one stope when replacing traditional mining technology with the recommended progressive technology will be UAH 266.0 million, and the general mine effect will be about UAH 1.0 billion.

Description. A technology has been proposed, including the preparation of a mining section of paired longwalls with selective extraction of coal and rock, the laying of the produced space, taking into account the volume of rock from the development workings, characterized in that during the preparation process paired benches with a central accumulating rock drift are formed, the mining of which is carried out simultaneously. front, while in one of the paired longwalls selective extraction of coal is carried out with transportation to a transport drift, and in the adjacent one, selective extraction of cutting rock is carried out with transportation to the central accumulating rock drift and subsequent sequential filling of the produced space; at the same time, during the extraction of coal in the first longwall, the produced space is simultaneously filled with rock coming from the neighboring longwall, where coal is extracted with the backfill of rock coming from the first longwall in one continuous technological process, and then with the formation of subsequent paired longwalls with full backfilling. .
