Topic: How to submit dissertations to the PQDT Global Dec_ription database.
Theses: The ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global (PQDT)™ database is the world’s most comprehensive multidisciplinary collection of dissertations from 65 countries, with more than 5 million abstracts and 3 million full-text papers from thousands of universities.
In 2023, dissertations from the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” appeared in the collection.
“Clarivate” invited Irina Khoroshok, the librarian responsible for information support for scientists at the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, to share her practical experience in posting the institution’s dissertations.
During the webinar, there will be a discussion of step-by-step instructions on how to add a dissertation and there will be an opportunity to ask questions to Clarivate representatives Meinhard Kettler – Partnerships Manager and Irina Tikhonkova – Customes Success Consultant.

Abstracts: The webinar will discuss: the goals and objectives of scientometrics, data and sources used for analysis, criteria for their quality; how the main indicators are calculated and for what (not) they should be used: impact factor and its variations, Journal Citation Indicator, quartile, Worst index, CNCI, beamplots; examples of correct and incorrect application; analysis of the achievements of a scientist and institution through the prism of Web of Science and InCItes.
