The student startup camp BOOST Camp will open you up to the world of startups. In just 2.5 days, you will meet the best mentors and learn to think like an entrepreneur to launch your own company.
Follow the practical steps developed by the University of Edinburgh’s Venture Builder Incubator program to develop your business idea. Meet like-minded people, gain new skills and gain something to add to your resume.
Bring your team and an idea for a business or social enterprise that you have researched as part of CloudEARTHi SEEDplus activities at your institution. You will have the opportunity to exchange experiences with other teams from 5 institutions, communicate in a question-and-answer format and compete for a prize.
Student startup BOOST Camp
When: April 23 – 25, Live Hybrid Event
*(online + offline simultaneously. You will be physically located in one of the participating cities and a direct online bridge with others will be set up)
Participating cities: Varna, Tromso, Istanbul, Burgenland and Kyiv, in person and others online.
BOOST camps will take place simultaneously at each of the BOOSTalent institutions (Varna, Tromso, Istanbul, Burgenland and Kyiv) and will be broadcast live to other teams who are part of the CloudEARTHi community and wish to join.
Over 2.5 days of interactive workshops, you will explore your communications, customers and business plan, using the University of Edinburgh’s sustainable business framework – The Earth Centered Business Design Framework – to develop Earth-centred business plans.

Please bring your laptop, cell phone, chargers if possible, and we will have plenty of flipcharts, sticky notes and pens, as well as snacks to keep your creative juices flowing!
Your institution’s BOOST Camp will also include social events and networking opportunities within the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, more details available upon registration.
On the last day, you will have the opportunity to select a team to represent your institution at the pitching event and compete against other teams for a prize. Members of the winning BOOST Camp team will receive their prize from the University of Edinburgh.
Be prepared to start at 9am every day (UK GMT) {+1 CET for Norway, Austria, +2 for Bulgaria, Turkey, Ukraine}.

And that is not all! By attending the BOOST Camp, you will have the opportunity to participate in the selection of your school to present your startup at the “Startups Showcase Day” during the annual CloudEARTHi conference, which will take place June 27-29 in Varna, Bulgaria. You will be able to speak in front of a European audience and gain access to a wider customer base!
