A program for defense startups has been launched in Ukraine

After completing the program, participants will have the opportunity to gain access to investors.

Ukraine has launched a recruitment program for the Defense Builder Accelerator for startups that are interested in creating innovative technological solutions for military applications. This is stated on the Defense Builder website.

The Defense Builder Accelerator’s mission is to create favorable conditions for the development of the Ukrainian defense sector through training and support of new teams. After completing the program, participants will have the opportunity to gain access to investors, which will allow them to attract financing for the further development of their projects.

Defense Builder Accelerator is a 4-month practical program for Ukrainian defense startups aimed at creating technological solutions for military applications. Program participants will have the opportunity to gain technical knowledge, legal and financial skills necessary for the successful development of their projects. The program will be held in the format of online lectures and personal meetings.

This acceleration program was created in collaboration with leading participants in the technology ecosystem, such as Genesis, Sigma Software Labs and the Kiev School of Economics (KSE). Program participants will have the opportunity to receive mentoring support from representatives of Netpeak Group, Skyeton, Airlogix, Finmap, Buntar Aerospace, as well as military experts with experience on the battlefield.

The first intake will include 15 startups. In addition, only teams developing technologies in clearly defined areas can take part – UAVs, ground-based robotic systems, unmanned surface vehicles, electronic warfare and electronic warfare equipment, software, mine clearance solutions, cyber security, avionics, sensors.
