In April 2024, UkrISTEI became a member of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) by signing the Agreement on Reforming Research Assessment:

In total, as of April 18, 2024, 637 organizations from around the world are members of the Coalition.
The agreements will work together to achieve systemic reforms, based on common principles, to improve research assessment practices, and will facilitate information exchange and mutual learning.
