Recruitment for the second wave of the “Dreams Without Borders” program for supporting and developing entrepreneurship for veterans and members of their families has started

The NGO “Center for Support and Protection of Veterans, Persons with Disabilities and Internally Displaced Persons” announces enrollment of participants for the second wave of the free educational program for the support and development of entrepreneurs of veterans and members of their families “Dreams Without Borders”. The goal of the project is to unite and unleash the entrepreneurial potential of veterans, creating the appropriate conditions to increase competitiveness and popularize veteran business in the domestic and foreign markets.

About the program

The program was created for veterans and veterans who want to take the first steps in starting their own business or intend to improve their career or change their place of work. The mentoring program will work in two directions: promoting the personal and career development of participants.

During the trainings, which will take place from June 14 to 17, 2024 in Kyiv, participants will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills that will help create and develop their own business in Ukraine, achieve financial independence, improve pitching skills and become effective leaders in times of uncertainty.

Among the topics of the program, in particular:

  • business marketing;
  • branding;
  • implementation of innovations.

Following the training, a public presentation of projects will take place in Kyiv, during which potential sponsors and grant givers will be able to familiarize themselves with the proposed business projects. The organizers will also create a separate album of projects for business structures and foreign partners in order to attract investment. 

For whom?

The following can take part in the program:

  • war veterans who have lost their ability to work due to injury, concussion or injury received at the front;
  • veterans of the Ukrainian-Russian war with disabilities;
  • members of their families.

In addition, participants must meet the following criteria:

  • be citizens of Ukraine;
  • have a business idea;
  • intend to work with their career or seek to change jobs;
  • have a high level of motivation and desire to create change for yourself and the country. 

How to participate?

To participate in the program you need to fill out an application form. The deadline for submission is June 2, 2024. 

During the event, the organizers cover all costs associated with accommodation and meals for participants. Payment for travel is at the participants’ own expense.
